Abstract Submission Guidelines:
The Scientific Committee invites researchers to submit abstracts related to the conference topics.
Abstracts may be considered for oral or poster presentation, subject to the decision of the Scientific Committee and programme scheduling.
Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the online abstract submission portal.
Abstract submissions should include the following elements:
- Title
- Authors (Presenting author indicated)
- Affiliation(s)
- Abstract Body
- Optional Figure or Table (maximum 1)
- References (maximum 3, optional)
- Presenter Biography (A short biography of the presenting author may be included with up to 150 words)
The submission system will organise the submitted information into the final abstract format for publication.
Language
All abstracts must be written in English and should be clear, concise, and suitable for publication.
Word limit
The abstract title should not exceed 50 words.
The abstract body should not exceed 400 words.
The word count does not include the title. Authors, or affiliations.
Figures / Tables
Authors may include one representative figure or table to illustrate key findings.
- Minimum resolution: 300 dpi
- The abstract text should not exceed 400 words, excluding title, author(s), affiliation(s), and references.
References
Up to three (3) references may be included at the end of the abstract.
Abbreviations
Standard scientific abbreviations may be used where appropriate. Non-standard abbreviations should be defined at first mention.
Online Submission
All abstracts must be submitted through the online abstract submission system.
Abstracts submitted by email or post will not be accepted.
Topic Selection
Authors must select the most appropriate Symposium topic during submission to ensure correct review.
Presentation Preference
Authors may indicate their preferred presentation format:
- Oral Presentation
- Poster Presentation
- No Preference
The final presentation format will be determined by the Scientific Committee
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee based on scientific quality and relevance to the symposium topics.
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to:
- Accept or reject abstracts
- Assign abstracts to oral or poster presentations
- Reassign abstracts to a different topical session where appropriate
Notification of acceptance will be sent to the Presenting Author.
At least one author must register and attend the Conference to present the accepted abstract. If the presenting author does not register by the Presenter Registration Deadline, the abstract may be withdrawn from the programme.
Abstracts can be saved in “Draft” status to be re-edited and modified until the submission deadline. Only abstracts in “Submitted” status will be regarded as successfully submitted and considered for the Conference. Once an abstract has been submitted, no changes can be made.
